Image fiber is a kind of multicore fiber that consists of a large number of cores (pixels) set in a coherent configuration and common cladding. Each pixel can independently transmit light as with a conventional optical fiber.

Our CMOS image sensor module is ideal for disposable/reusable medical equipment, with the features of l.6 mm diameter modular footprint, 400x400 pixels resolution, and 0.9mm cable diameter.

Fujikura offers variety of large core fiber for optical power transmission which is used to laser surgery equipment and others.

Micro coaxial cable, which is less susceptible to noise disturbance and is good for high speed transmission, can save the available space. Its flexibility and small diameter are useful for internal wiring of less-invasive medical devices.
